EFF v. AT&T Lawsuit.Why is the Government Afraid to Let it Procede?

January 31, 2006 The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) filed a class action lawsuit against AT&T. They accused AT&T of violating the privacy laws and the privacy of their customers by data-mining and wiretapping citizen's communications. They charged that the NSA violated the safeguards enacted by Congress.
